About the role
You will own the end to end management of complex permitting projects for some of the country's most prominent brands and builders. In this position, you will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and the fragmented web of municipal authorities that governs commercial development. Your daily work will focus on translating ambiguous regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps that keep projects moving forward. You will leverage Pulley's AI powered platform to remove manual bottlenecks and create predictable timelines where uncertainty usually dominates. This role demands a proactive mindset, where you identify risks before they materialize and coordinate cross functional teams to protect the schedule. Ultimately, your success will be measured by the speed and smoothness of project completions you enable.

What you'll do
Coordinate the submission and tracking of permit applications across diverse jurisdictions to maintain momentum.
Translate complex zoning and building code requirements into plain language for clients and internal stakeholders.
Champion Pulley's standards by documenting workflows and sharing insights that improve team wide efficiency.
Drive status updates for each project, ensuring clients understand current progress and foreseeable hurdles.
Partner with municipal officials to clarify requirements and resolve outstanding items that could stall progress.
Analyze historical project data to refine forecasting models and improve delivery estimates for future initiatives.
Synthesize feedback from design and construction teams to highlight opportunities for platform enhancements.
Monitor multiple timelines concurrently, adjusting plans as conditions change to prevent schedule compression.
Act as the central hub for information, consolidating emails, documents, and regulatory updates into a single source of truth.
Support the onboarding of new clients by translating Pulley's technology into tangible permitting roadmaps they can follow.
Identify recurring approval patterns and communicate them internally to shape product development priorities.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by testing new approaches and sharing best practices with colleagues.
Serve as the operational backbone for rollout programs, ensuring that large scale projects remain aligned with Pulley's methodology.
Maintain a detailed audit trail of all communications and decisions to support transparency and accountability.
Act as an educator for clients, helping them understand how Pulley's platform reduces risk and accelerates project lifecycles.
Requirements
Bring a minimum of 6 years of professional experience rooted in architecture, construction, or permitting disciplines.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and the full spectrum of permitting processes.
Prove you can communicate effectively with both technical experts and non technical stakeholders in high pressure settings.
Show strong adaptability in learning new software tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a closely related field that provides a foundation for interpreting construction documentation.
Commit to representing Pulley with professionalism when engaging with clients, municipalities, and internal team members.
Possess the organizational discipline to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing attention to detail or accuracy.
Be prepared to travel within the United States as required to support client needs and strengthen regional relationships.
Nice to have
Experience working with national brands that operate across many markets with standardized processes.
Background in data center builds, EV charging infrastructure, or other specialized commercial construction sectors.
Familiarity with project management software and collaboration platforms used by design and construction teams.
Understanding of how artificial intelligence tools can assist in streamlining regulatory workflows and documentation.
Practical notes
This is a full time position based in the United States that may require domestic travel.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check if required for certain client site engagements.
Some roles may be contingent on eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position.
Travel requirements are limited to regional visits that support client rollout programs and project specific needs.
