About the role
You will manage the internal systems responsible for onboarding third-party vendors and banking partners. This position focuses on optimizing the contract lifecycle, approval workflows, and reporting structures through hands-on technical configuration. You will act as the primary owner for these platforms, ensuring that business processes are automated and reliable. In this capacity, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical systems to drive efficiency and compliance. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying process gaps and implementing scalable solutions using no-code tools. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and security of our third-party ecosystem. Your work will directly impact the reliability of our vendor network and the stability of our operational infrastructure.

What you'll do
- Configure and maintain non-code platforms by building templates, routing logic, and approval automations to streamline procurement activities.
- Design technical solutions by translating business needs into build plans, including data modeling and permission structures that support scalable vendor onboarding.
- Manage API-based integrations with internal finance and risk teams, including data mapping, validation, and ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
- Oversee the full release cycle, including user acceptance testing, rollout plans, and incident troubleshooting to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain system documentation and runbooks to train stakeholders and improve internal technical capabilities, ensuring knowledge transfer and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and ensure that system configurations align with strategic objectives.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations that enhance workflow efficiency and user experience.
- Lead the development of automation rules that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate the onboarding of third-party providers.
- Establish governance frameworks for system changes, ensuring that all modifications are traceable, auditable, and aligned with compliance standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between business users and IT, facilitating communication to ensure that technical solutions meet operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing system usage data and feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Ensure that all configurations adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, mitigating risks associated with third-party relationships.
- Support the implementation of new features and functionalities, working closely with product owners to prioritize and execute based on business value.
- Champion best practices in system management, promoting reliability, security, and scalability across all third-party management platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hands-on administration of enterprise tools and shipping workflow changes to production in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with API documentation, define payload requirements, and manage authentication methods like OAuth and API keys to enable secure integrations.
- Strong systems thinking skills to manage cross-tool dependencies and their impact on audit trails, reporting, and data integrity.
- Experience managing end-to-end releases, including testing strategies, rollout plans, and post-release monitoring to ensure successful implementation.
- Capability to handle operational escalations, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures that reduce future incidents.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of complex systems with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving, ensuring that configurations are accurate and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align on solutions.
Nice to have
- Background in procurement, contract lifecycle management, third-party risk, or finance systems that provides context for operational workflows.
- Familiarity with webhooks, SSO, data synchronization, and integration monitoring to support robust system performance.
- Experience generating reporting metrics from complex or imperfect data sources to drive insights and decision-making.
