About the role
Wise is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the CRM Analytics team and support our Personal and Business customer segments. In this position, you will own the conversion of ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical projects that directly inform strategic decision-making across the customer journey. You will report to the Manager of CRM Analytics and act as a key thought partner in shaping how we acquire, engage, and retain our global customer base through data. The role requires you to perform deep-dive analyses on customer lifecycle patterns, segmentation, and campaign results to uncover actionable insights. You will run A/B tests and incrementality studies to rigorously measure and refine the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives. A core part of the role involves creating and managing dashboards that provide clear visibility into CRM performance metrics for stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with Analytics Engineering, Product, and CRM technology teams to uphold and enhance data quality, consistency, and reliability standards. Additionally, you will help define and build out the long-term CRM measurement strategy, ensuring our analytical foundation can scale with business needs.

What you'll do
- Convert business challenges into analytical projects that inform strategic decision-making across customer acquisition and retention.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on customer lifecycle patterns, segmentation, and campaign results to identify drivers of value and friction.
- Run A/B tests and incrementality studies to refine marketing effectiveness and quantify true business impact.
- Create and manage dashboards to monitor CRM performance metrics, ensuring stakeholders have access to timely and accurate data.
- Partner with Analytics Engineering, Product, and CRM technology teams to maintain high data standards and enable cross-functional alignment.
- Build and refine customer segmentation models to improve targeting, personalization, and overall customer experience.
- Help shape the long-term CRM measurement strategy by defining key metrics, frameworks, and best practices for analytics use.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives that support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, scope projects, and prioritize analytical work based on business impact.
- Conduct rigorous data quality checks and validations to ensure insights are reliable and reproducible.
- Mentor junior analysts on analytical techniques, SQL practices, and dashboard design principles where appropriate.
- Explore new analytical tools, methodologies, and datasets to continuously improve the depth and speed of CRM insights.
- Document analytical processes, assumptions, and logic to ensure transparency and maintainability of analytics assets.
- Drive a test-and-learn culture by designing experiments that generate actionable insights about customer behavior and acquisition channels.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in marketing analytics, specifically within CRM or lifecycle marketing environments.
- Advanced SQL skills for handling complex data structures and queries in warehouses like Snowflake.
- Proficiency in data modeling using dbt to build scalable and maintainable data pipelines.
- Experience with data visualization tools to build and maintain interactive reporting dashboards.
- Practical knowledge of Python or R for data wrangling, analysis, and automation of analytical tasks.
- Strong grasp of statistical testing and experimental design to evaluate program performance accurately.
- Ability to explain technical findings and analytical trade-offs to cross-functional partners without relying on technical jargon.
- Proven ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where requirements evolve and data maturity varies across teams.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices for handling customer information responsibly.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with technology and product teams to integrate analytics into production systems and workflows.
- Track record of using data to drive decisions and demonstrate measurable impact on business outcomes.
- Commitment to maintaining documentation and sharing knowledge to support team scalability and continuity.

- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze.
- Familiarity with advanced customer segmentation and personalization frameworks, including behavioral clustering and propensity modeling.
- Prior work building experiments or analyzing results in a multi-channel marketing environment.
- Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and cloud platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Experience contributing to analytics roadmaps and defining data requirements for new CRM features or products.

- Base salary range is 60,000 to 85,000 GBP.
