What you'll do

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for transmission projects, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of transmission projects to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative learning environment within the team.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in transmission planning and renewable energy integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission planning or related engineering roles within the energy sector.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, transmission system design, and renewable energy integration.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing transmission operations and planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
