About the role
You will own the end-to-end identity and internationalization platform that underpins member trust and global growth at WHOOP. You will define and drive the strategy and roadmaps for the Identity and Internationalization teams, ensuring secure, seamless member experiences across web and mobile touchpoints. You will directly improve how members worldwide access, control, and understand their personal data and account security. You will balance stringent security requirements with intuitive user experiences for a product used daily by members across the globe. You will set measurable goals, analyze complex data, and translate insights into compelling product decisions that drive retention and conversion. You will manage relationships with third-party vendors and cross-functional partners to enable smooth operations and compliance. You will facilitate discovery, development, and delivery of new features that expand WHOOP's global reach and deepen member engagement.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Take ownership of key company metrics related to member account security, login and access conversion rates, usage rates of login controls, and other relevant indicators that report up to the executive team.
- Set a product strategy, roadmap, and measurable goals for your product area and team.
- Manage end-user experiences, including login across mobile, web, and API.
- Balance security with user experience for a product worn and utilized daily across the globe.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Analysts to break down and prioritize user needs, and to scope and define detailed product requirements.
- Collect and analyze internal and external customer needs and feedback through rigorous research and testing methodologies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to formulate compelling business cases for new product ideas and to assess the performance of launched features.
- Develop and manage relationships with third-party suppliers, vendors, and services to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate product discovery, development, and delivery for new products and improvements across mobile and back-end infrastructure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Software, Information security, Finance, Marketing, Growth, and other departments to drive business strategy and integration of critical workflows.
- Drive the roadmap for international expansion across multiple languages and regions, directly impacting bookings and member adoption.
- Define and maintain the specifications and requirements for identity lifecycle systems, authentication, and authorization flows.
- Partner closely with security teams to translate complex security requirements into coherent product experiences without compromising usability.
- Own the end-to-end product experience for identity and internationalization, ensuring alignment with WHOOP's mission to unlock human performance at scale.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Product Management with a clear record of successful delivery and impact collaborating with a highly technical engineering team.
- Deep analytical skills and a bias for data driven decision making.
- Experience with SQL/Amplitude/Sigma for data analysis is a plus (and will be required to learn on the job).
- Experience with AI tools to drive productivity and data analysis.
- Experience working with security teams and translating security requirements to product deliveries.
- Experience working on subscription products, within a DTC company/team, and/or on both mobile and web products is preferred.
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver business impact.
- Curiosity led and willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
- Must be willing and able to relocate to Boston, MA to work from the WHOOP office.
- Must be able to start within 30 days of offer acceptance.
- Must have the right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to commit to the standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Must pass background checks as required by company policy.

Practical notes
- U.S. base salary range is $155,000 - $215,000.
- This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA.
- The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
