What you'll do

You will execute comprehensive quality checks on Kazakh language content to identify and document defects through systematic testing. This involves utilizing internal bug-tracking systems to log, classify, and monitor issues with precision and clear descriptive details. You will apply deep cultural and linguistic knowledge of Kazakh and Kazakhstan to assess context, tone, and appropriateness across various digital materials. A core responsibility is to review and verify translations from English into Kazakh, ensuring accuracy, fluency, and functional suitability within user interfaces, software applications, and associated documentation. You will examine software interfaces, mobile applications, and documentation to detect localization errors, inconsistencies, and functional discrepancies.

To ensure complete coverage, you will follow detailed test cases and instructions meticulously, testing all relevant product scenarios and edge cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and align testing activities with project objectives, acting as a subject matter expert to answer linguistic questions and provide guidance on proper Kazakh language usage. You will adhere strictly to established quality standards, client-specific style guides, glossaries, and trademark usage as defined for each project. When critical issues are identified, you will escalate testing concerns and communicate findings effectively to support timely resolution. After fixes are implemented, you will verify that reported bugs have been resolved correctly through thorough retesting and validation. Organizing your workload to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for success in this position. You will also contribute to the improvement of testing processes and documentation based on practical experience and feedback, supporting the overall goal of delivering seamless, user-friendly, and linguistically polished digital experiences.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate native-level fluency in Kazakh, with an emphasis on both formal and informal usage in all contexts. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Kazakh are required for engaging in both technical and non-technical discussions with clarity and precision. You must commit to consistent quality standards and the accurate execution of testing procedures without deviation.

You must possess the ability to read, write, and proofread complex content in Kazakh without errors, ensuring linguistic integrity across all materials. A solid grasp of client-specific style guides, checklists, and glossaries is necessary to maintain consistency and compliance with brand requirements. Holding a solid understanding of linguistic terminology and concepts relevant to translation and localization is essential for performing evaluations and articulating issues effectively. The ideal candidate will have backgrounds in fields such as Marketing, Journalism, Copy Editing, Proofreading, Writing, Translation, and/or Localization, as these experiences directly support the responsibilities of this position.
