Key facts
What you'll do
- You will Translate pharmacovigilance and or clinical regulatory content from French into English with careful attention to detail.
- You will Perform Machine Translation Post Editing MTPE on machine translated safety content to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- You will Conduct thorough Copy Edit review of translated or post edited content for accuracy tone and consistency.
- You will Meet strict non extendable turnaround times on time sensitive safety content without delay.
- You will Occasionally support Transcription tasks by retyping scanned or handwritten PDFs into Word for downstream translation.
- You will Require a personal Gmail account for linguists supporting Transcription tasks to access the client platform.
- You will Work within the client's CAT tool environment XTM following project specific setup instructions precisely.
- You will Provide translation training guidance and apply it consistently across all assigned tasks.
- You will Maintain Minimum 2 years of professional experience translating Life Sciences documents in a professional context.
- You will Demonstrate Experience translating pharmacovigilance content preferred SAE AE serious and non serious adverse events PSURs SUSARs ICSRs DSURs Risk Management Plans RMP.
- You will Show capability translating regulatory or clinical documents such as medical reports protocols synopses ICF discharge reports study reports SmPC PIL or medical literature.
- You will Exhibit Great daily availability as this program requires consistent daily capacity and is not suited to part-time schedules.
- You will Confirm Strong English proficiency with native level of English preferred but not mandatory for successful performance.
- You will Use Experience with XTM or similar CAT tools to navigate complex translation management systems.
- You will Be Reliable deadline driven and flexible to adapt to changing priorities and fast turnaround expectations.
Requirements
- Degree in translation linguistics or languages studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training.
- You need translation training that is formal and applicable to professional practice.
- Minimum 2 years of documented professional experience translating Life Sciences documents for external clients or regulated environments.
- Experience translating pharmacovigilance content preferred focusing on SAE AE serious and non serious adverse events PSURs SUSARs ICSRs DSURs and Risk Management Plans RMP.
- Alternatively experience translating regulatory or clinical documents is acceptable and includes medical reports protocols synopses ICF discharge reports study reports SmPC PIL or medical literature.
- Great daily availability is mandatory as the role requires consistent daily capacity and cannot accommodate part-time arrangements.
- Strong English proficiency is required with a preference for native level fluency to handle nuanced regulatory language.
- You need Experience using XTM or similar CAT tools to perform core translation and review tasks.
- Reliable time management and a deadline driven mindset are essential to meet strict non extendable timelines.
- Flexibility is required to manage shifting workloads and support various content types across the life sciences spectrum.
