About the role
Wellhub is looking for a Business Intelligence Analytics Projects Specialist to join their growing team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role focuses on managing and delivering data analytics projects that directly support business decision-making across the organization. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain BI solutions that drive measurable outcomes. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into structured analytical frameworks and ensuring that every project delivery meets established quality standards and timeline commitments.

What you'll do
Lead end-to-end delivery of BI analytics projects from initial scoping through final deployment and handoff to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria for analytics initiatives.
Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using BI platforms to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while coordinating with data engineers, analysts, and product teams across Wellhub.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions and operational improvements.
Develop and maintain documentation for all BI projects, including data dictionaries, process flows, and technical specifications.
Conduct quality assurance checks on analytics outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reported data.
Support the integration of new data sources into existing BI infrastructure and validate data integrity throughout the pipeline.
Present findings and project updates to leadership and non-technical audiences in clear, actionable formats.
Identify opportunities to optimize existing BI workflows and recommend process improvements that increase team efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
Proven experience managing analytics projects, with a track record of delivering BI solutions on schedule and within scope.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets to extract, transform, and load information for analysis.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Familiarity with BI tools and platforms commonly used in enterprise analytics environments.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience designing structured analytical frameworks.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables.
Nice to have
Experience working in the health and wellness or fitness industry, particularly with platforms focused on member engagement and retention.
Knowledge of Python or R for additional data manipulation and statistical analysis capabilities beyond core BI tooling.
Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions and ETL processes for large-scale data management.
Prior experience leading cross-functional teams or serving as a project lead in a matrixed organizational structure.
