About the role
You will define and scale the shared services layer that powers product innovation across the organization as a strategic and highly technical product leader. You own the strategy and execution of core shared services, including orchestration workflows, business capabilities, and reusable platform services. You enable customer-facing product teams to build, launch, and scale experiences efficiently, consistently, and at scale through your leadership. You manage a team of Product Managers and bring deep platform product management experience with a strong internal customer mindset. You drive adoption of shared services, APIs, and workflow capabilities while balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform health. You partner across the organization with influential leadership to build toward a unified platform vision using strong business judgment. You ensure technical fluency is paired with business insight to make decisions that benefit both platform and product teams. What you'll do
Champion the development and maintenance of a robust shared services layer that removes friction for product teams and accelerates delivery across the business.
Own the product strategy and roadmap for core services, including orchestration workflows and business capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise outcomes and scalability requirements.
Define and evolve reusable platform services and APIs that abstract complexity and enable consistent, reliable experiences for internal and external customers.
Lead discovery and synthesis efforts with internal stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into clear product opportunities for shared services.
Design and implement service orchestration logic that coordinates workflows across systems, improving reliability, observability, and performance for dependent products.
Partner closely with engineering, design, and data teams to translate platform constraints and opportunities into clear product requirements and success metrics.
Establish and maintain product metrics and adoption signals to evaluate the health of shared services and prioritize investments that improve platform utility.
Balance urgent product needs with the long-term vision for platform stability, simplicity, and extensibility, making tradeoffs that protect both.
Represent the platform perspective in cross-functional discussions, influencing without authority and building consensus around shared standards.
Champion best practices in product management, from discovery through execution, to ensure disciplined, outcome-focused delivery on shared services initiatives.
Drive the adoption of APIs and workflow capabilities by creating clear value propositions, documentation, and enablement resources for internal users.
Act as the central point of ownership for the shared services backlog, ensuring priorities reflect both immediate needs and strategic platform evolution.
Requirements
You bring 8+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of delivering complex platform or infrastructure products.
You have 3+ years of experience managing and developing other product managers, providing mentorship, feedback, and career growth opportunities.
You demonstrate deep experience in platform product management, with a proven ability to think in systems and balance local optimizations with global integrity.
You are fluent in technical concepts and can communicate effectively with engineering leaders about architecture, tradeoffs, and implementation details.
You have a history of building and scaling internal platforms that enable multiple product teams to operate efficiently and consistently.
You show strong business judgment, with the ability to prioritize competing demands while safeguarding the long-term health of the platform.
You are an influential collaborator who can drive alignment across stakeholders without direct control over their work.
You have a bias for action, delivering tangible outcomes while maintaining clarity on long-term vision and architectural direction.

Background in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated industries where operational rigor and compliance considerations are critical.
Hands-on experience with modern API platforms, workflow automation tools, and service orchestration technologies.
A track record of building reusable components and developer-facing platforms that improve team productivity and consistency.
Experience with data-driven decision making, including experimentation, instrumentation, and analysis to guide product strategy.
