Designers shape how products look and feel. Designers create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished visuals. They test ideas with users and iterate on feedback. Design work spans research, interaction design, and visual design. Collaboration with product and engineering happens daily. Design decisions are judged by outcomes such as usability, conversion, and customer satisfaction. Most design teams keep a living design system to keep products consistent.

What you'll do

Produce shop lists using computer software to support system piping fabrication and approve fabrication quotes based on project needs.

Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures on all job sites to protect teams and maintain standards.

Update purchasing as installation schedules or change orders require modifications to keep projects on track and meet deadlines. Provide reliable transportation, hold a valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for company vehicle use, and pass various background checks as required.

Requirements

Three to five years of experience with AutoCAD or SprinkCAD or a background in mathematics is required for this position. Ability to review architectural drawings, mechanical, site, structural and complete site surveys, and research essential information for structural and mechanical elements is required. Integration of other mechanical systems must be demonstrated to ensure successful coordination with the fire suppression system and recognition of potential conflicts with other trades.

Ability to exercise a high level of autonomy in organizing, planning, and prioritizing multiple projects to meet individual deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills is required. NICET certification test reimbursement is available through the employee apparel program and company paid long term disability insurance. Reliable transportation and a valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle are required.

Nice to have

Associate or bachelor's degree in drafting (AutoCAD) is desirable for this role. NICET Level III or IV, or equivalent experience, is desirable but not mandatory for consideration. Texas Candidates may hold an RME-G credential for this work.
