What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality is integrated at every stage.
• Execute manual and automated testing for new features and enhancements, documenting test cases and results meticulously.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting of issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers to improve code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and user stories.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Monitor and analyze test results, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of QA processes and standards to enhance overall product quality.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of mobile application testing methodologies.
