What you'll do
- Execute comprehensive identity verification for individual customers and business entities using KYC and KYB methodologies. This involves a thorough examination of source documents and beneficial ownership information to confirm authenticity and legitimacy.
- Conduct continuous surveillance of financial transactions to detect anomalies and potential indicators of illicit behavior. You will analyze transaction patterns, volumes, and frequencies to identify deviations that may signal fraud or abuse.
- Function as the primary liaison managing and resolving complex inquiries from partner banking institutions. This requires clear communication and prompt resolution of issues related to account activity and verification.
- Draft, review, and submit Suspicious Activity Reports to the Chief Compliance Officer in a timely and accurate manner. You will compile detailed narratives and evidence to support regulatory filings for potential financial crime.
- Uphold strict adherence to internal protocols while optimizing processing speed and maintaining exceptional data precision. Balancing regulatory compliance with operational efficiency is a core responsibility.
- Analyze case files and documentation to identify patterns that may suggest emerging risks or systemic vulnerabilities. You will proactively assess trends within investigations to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and clarify operational procedures. This ensures alignment between compliance requirements and business operations.

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Anti-Money Laundering and financial crime prevention. This experience must demonstrate a proven track record in the field.
- Demonstrate fluency in English through both written and verbal communication in a professional environment. Clear and concise communication is vital for reporting and collaboration.
- Show a deep understanding of international Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing regulatory frameworks. Knowledge of laws such as AML/CFT directives is mandatory.
- Have proven expertise in Know Your Customer and Know Your Business procedures and their practical application. Mastery of verification techniques for individuals and corporate entities is required.
- Provide a documented background in transaction monitoring and the execution of Enhanced Due Diligence measures. You must have hands-on experience in these specific compliance functions.
- Hold comprehensive knowledge of financial service regulations applicable to the banking and fintech sectors. Familiarity with the regulatory environment in which financial institutions operate is essential.
