Key facts
What you'll do
- Monitor and review user-generated content on various social media platforms to ensure compliance with community standards and guidelines.
- Engage with users by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and escalate any inappropriate or harmful content to the appropriate teams for further action.
- Collaborate with the content creation team to develop engaging posts that resonate with our audience and promote positive interactions.
- Analyze user interactions and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement within the community.
- Create and maintain reports on moderation activities, including metrics on user engagement and content flagged for review.
- Assist in developing and updating community guidelines to reflect the evolving nature of social media interactions.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in social media moderation and community management.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all social media campaigns align with community standards and foster a positive user experience.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on user feedback to enhance community engagement strategies.
- Support crisis management efforts by monitoring social media channels during critical events and addressing user concerns promptly.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in social media moderation, community management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems and social media analytics tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in user interactions.
- Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
