What you'll do

• Lead the operational strategy and execution to ensure alignment with Bamboohr' overall business objectives and goals.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that enhance operational performance.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all departments are functioning efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Manage and optimize resource allocation, including personnel, budgets, and technology, to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and support business growth.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers and staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the energy sector.
• Drive initiatives related to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, aligning operational practices with Bamboohr' commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably as a COO or in a similar capacity within the energy or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of operational management principles and best practices, with a track record of driving efficiency and performance improvements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
