What you'll do
- Assume complete responsibility for the performance and daily management of the Clinic Purchasing Platform, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Mentor and guide two managerial staff members who oversee a team of around 15 customer-facing employees, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and to spearhead collaborative projects.
- Gather and analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform commercial strategies and influence product development initiatives.
- Review and contribute to significant customer communications such as proposals and performance evaluations to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Streamline processes, metrics, and operational rhythms for the Account Management and Customer Experience teams to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance assessments with your direct reports to evaluate account health, pinpoint opportunities for growth, and manage potential risks effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client retention and satisfaction, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and proactive problem-solving among team members.
- Engage in strategic planning sessions to align team goals with broader company objectives, ensuring that all efforts contribute to Vetcove's mission.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to keep the company ahead of market demands and customer expectations.
- Participate in high-level discussions regarding business strategy and operational improvements, providing insights based on customer interactions and market analysis.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in account management, relationship-driven sales, or a similar discipline is essential.
- Proven track record in managing teams, including direct experience leading managers or overseeing teams through other leaders.
- Demonstrated success in handling large, complex enterprise client relationships, showcasing your ability to navigate challenges effectively.
- A readiness to engage with project specifics, even in a senior leadership role, ensuring thorough understanding and oversight.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, enabling you to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for data interpretation and quantitative problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is necessary for effective communication and reporting.
