Key facts
What you'll do
Campaign ownership drives revenue across brand, agency, and publisher accounts by handling end-to-end optimization and delivery. Campaign management, optimization, and reporting are performed across Verve for Advertisers' proprietary platform and leading DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Meta, and IQVIA to align with media strategies. Pacing, delivery, and performance are tracked against KPIs and margin goals to ensure targets are met. Campaign metrics are analyzed to provide actionable insights that satisfy clients and retain business. Budgets, invoicing, and forecasting are coordinated with Finance and Sales Operations to maintain financial accuracy.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or programmatic advertising are required for this position. Hands-on experience with DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Xandr, and Meta, plus analytics platforms like Google Analytics, IAS, and DoubleClick, must be demonstrated. Understanding of pixels, click tags, UTM codes, and performance tracking has to be shown in practice. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite is required, while SQL knowledge is preferred for efficiency. The ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while remaining detail-oriented is necessary for success. Communication skills must be excellent to collaborate effectively within the team.
Practical notes
Greater NY-area residents are subject to a hybrid remote policy requiring three in-office days per week when within a 90-minute commute of the NYC office. The role is open to non-traditional career paths and focuses on hiring for fit rather than keyword matching. Typical interview steps
Marketing interviews often include a portfolio review, a campaign exercise, and analytics questions. Candidates may be asked to plan a launch, write a brief, or improve a funnel. Some loops include a presentation. Results from past campaigns carry the most weight. Interviewers ask about specific campaigns you ran and what the numbers said. Preparing a short case of one campaign with its results is strong preparation.
Good to know
The role operates within an ecosystem that unifies data, media, and technology for advertisers and publishers. The technology captures consumer actions and intent to deliver high-fidelity audiences and insights. Success depends on analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration in an ad tech environment. Tools such as DSPs and analytics platforms are central to daily workflows. The position supports revenue growth and client retention through data-driven campaign management.
Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview: what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued.
