About the role
Join the JAPAC Sales Strategy and Operations team to shape how the regional sales organization operates and grows. You will lead cross-functional projects from initial concept through analysis to actionable recommendations. This position offers deep exposure to business mechanics, data, and processes that power a high-growth sales engine.

What you'll do
- Build and deliver regular and ad hoc reports for weekly and quarterly business reviews, translating data into actionable insights
- Partner with stakeholders to create, execute, and maintain the JAPAC sales plan
- Design and roll out new territory structures as teams, representatives, geographies, and segments expand
- Identify workflow and process improvements in Salesforce.com and other tools to increase efficiency and visibility
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for the JAPAC sales team on data requests, system processes, and approval workflows
- Develop onboarding programs and content for new hires while tracking performance metrics to understand what differentiates top performers
- Work hands-on in Salesforce and Google Sheets or Excel daily, collaborating with sales, marketing, operations, product, and finance teams
- Balance solving immediate problems with building scalable long-term solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a startup environment
- Native or fluent Japanese language ability
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to independently structure analyses that answer business questions and inform decisions
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for engaging both sales reps and technical teams
- Comfortable operating with minimal guidance and leading cross-functional workstreams
- Able to manage ambiguity, shift priorities quickly, and execute in a fast-moving environment
- Willingness to commute to the Tokyo office 5 days per week
- Bachelors or masters degree from a top institution preferred

- Visa sponsorship available; the company will make reasonable efforts to secure a visa if an offer is extended
- Estimated annual on-target earnings: 15,150,000 to 21,390,000 JPY (base plus commissions if applicable)
