About the role
Verkada is at the forefront of developing a physical AI platform designed to enhance security for organizations through a combination of integrated video surveillance, access control, and sensor technologies. We are in search of a Growth Manager who will spearhead initiatives focused on pipeline generation and customer acquisition for our primary product offerings. This position involves collaboration with a dynamic team to create and implement account-based marketing strategies while executing go-to-market plans effectively.

What you'll do
- Formulate and implement account-based marketing strategies aimed at expanding our sales pipeline and driving growth.
- Create automated systems for executing marketing campaigns across various channels to maximize efficiency and reach.
- Analyze audience segmentation, pinpoint intent signals, and enhance demand generation initiatives to capture leads effectively.
- Manage the entire marketing campaign lifecycle, from the initial concept phase through to performance evaluation and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with teams across sales, marketing operations, data science, and product marketing to ensure alignment on strategic goals and priorities.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights that will inform strategy adjustments and improve overall results.
- Develop creative content and messaging that resonates with target audiences, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that can inform marketing strategies and enhance competitive positioning.
- Engage in regular brainstorming sessions with the marketing team to generate innovative ideas and approaches for outreach and engagement.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously refine marketing tactics and strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on marketing performance and ROI to senior management, showcasing the impact of growth initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, business operations, strategic consulting, or within a startup environment.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in marketing, including exposure to B2C marketing strategies.
- A proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns and optimizing their performance for better results.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with sales and product development teams, to drive marketing success.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems to streamline campaign management.
- Experience in digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and lead generation efforts.
- Previous experience in a technology or SaaS company, particularly in a growth marketing role.
- Understanding of customer journey mapping and user experience principles to improve engagement.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with a strong command of SQL for querying databases.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and analysis.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance and ROI.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey marketing messages and insights.
Practical notes
- The annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $175,000 to $195,000 USD, reflecting the importance of this position in driving company growth.
