About the role
You will lead the strategic vision and execution for the Link Key People solution within the MedTech industry, acting as the primary voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. You will partner deeply with cross-functional teams to de-risk initiatives and ensure that every release delivers measurable outcomes for our customers. You will translate complex workflows into clear product requirements that drive intuitive and powerful user experiences. You will leverage data and qualitative insights to prioritize features that maximize adoption and retention. You will own the end-to-end success of the product line, from discovery through launch and optimization. You will establish the roadmap that balances innovation with the practical needs of our target industry. You will communicate progress and value clearly to both internal stakeholders and executive leadership. You will foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning to keep the product competitive.
Key facts
What you'll do
Investigate and document the current state of Key People management workflows for MedTech customers to uncover friction points and opportunities.
Analyze usage metrics and customer feedback to identify trends that inform the product roadmap for Link Key People.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to develop compelling narratives that highlight the solution's value to prospective clients.
Design and iterate on the user experience for managing Key People relationships to ensure clarity and efficiency for end users.
Define and maintain the product requirements that guide engineering efforts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Partner with Customer Success to develop training and enablement materials that drive strong product adoption.
Evaluate competitive offerings in the MedTech space to identify gaps where Veeva Link Key People can establish a leadership position.
Present product updates and rationale to internal stakeholders to secure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
Work with the Data team to establish key performance indicators that accurately reflect the health and growth of the product.
Champion the product during customer interactions to gather direct feedback and validate proposed solutions.
Translate complex regulatory and business constraints into clear product specifications that engineers can implement effectively.
Mentor junior team members on product best practices and contribute to the overall development of the product management function.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates your capabilities.
You have a minimum of eight years of cumulative experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful software products.
You bring at least eight years of experience specifically within the MedTech, Life Sciences, or related regulated industries.
You have a history of owning the full product lifecycle, from initial discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
You are highly proficient in using data analytics tools to measure product performance and guide decision-making processes.
You have substantial experience collaborating with engineering teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
You demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical practices and compliance within highly regulated environments.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Nice to have
Experience with Veeva systems is highly desirable and would be considered a significant advantage for this role.
A background in managing solutions related to Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) or Key Influencer Management provides a strong foundation for this position.
Prior experience working within the MedTech industry, understanding its unique sales cycles and stakeholder dynamics, is preferred.
Knowledge of compliance considerations specific to life sciences software further strengthens your candidacy for this role.
