About the role
You will own the end-to-end remote consulting lifecycle for live Veeva Vault customers, acting as a trusted advisor without the need for travel. This role focuses on driving business value through deep expertise in cloud-based content management and collaboration solutions within life sciences organizations. You will partner directly with customer administrators to understand their unique operational challenges and strategic objectives. Your work will involve designing and implementing process improvements that span departments such as clinical trials, quality management, manufacturing, regulatory, sales, and marketing. You will leverage Veeva Vault to manage content-centric processes and ensure solutions align with the customer's business vision. This position offers the chance to build long-term relationships and deliver measurable outcomes while working remotely from China. You will play a key role in transforming the life sciences industry by helping customers achieve faster and more efficient therapy development and delivery.
Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct discovery sessions with customer administrators to map current-state processes and identify opportunities for optimization within Veeva Vault.
Design future-state workflows and content management structures that enhance efficiency and compliance across clinical operations and quality functions.
Configure Veeva Vault solutions to address specific customer requirements for regulatory submissions, batch records, and document control.
Lead the implementation of process improvements for cross-functional areas including manufacturing, safety, and pharmacovigilance using cloud-native capabilities.
Develop and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation for system configurations, business rules, and user procedures.
Perform data integrity assessments and ensure that content management practices meet life sciences regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
Collaborate with internal product specialists and delivery leads to resolve complex customer issues that span multiple modules and departments.
Support the adoption of new Veeva Vault features and releases by conducting training sessions and updating customer playbooks and SOPs.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements that improve usability and content accessibility for distributed teams.
Act as the primary remote point of contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of queries and continuous value realization from the Vault platform.
Coordinate with project managers to define and track remote consulting engagements, ensuring alignment with service-level agreements and customer milestones.
Provide insights and feedback to product teams based on real-world usage patterns and evolving customer needs in the life sciences sector.
Support the development of best practices and reference architectures that can be scaled across other Veeva Vault customer organizations globally.
Guide customers through digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud capabilities to streamline content-centric processes and reduce manual effort.
Requirements
You must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as life sciences, engineering, or information technology.
You must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders remotely.
You must demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with regulations governing life sciences data and content management.
You must be comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining high levels of ownership and accountability.
You must have experience working with cloud-based software platforms, particularly content management and collaboration systems used in regulated industries.
You must be willing to relocate to Dalian, China, and adapt to the local working environment and cultural expectations.
You must be available to work during standard business hours that align with the time zone of your primary customer base.

This role operates on a full-time basis with standard business hours that align with global collaboration windows. Travel is not required as the position is fully remote, allowing you to work from Dalian while serving customers across life sciences organizations.
