You act as the primary analyst for the sport vertical, owning the narrative behind every campaign performance. You enable rapid commercial decisions by delivering precise, timely, and well documented insights.
Key facts
What you will do
You will design intake routines that capture campaign calendars and sport specific targets so that nothing is overlooked at launch. These routines clarify what information is required and when it is needed by commercial and logistics teams. You will construct queries filtering by categories while monitoring sell through across regions to detect issues before they escalate. This approach highlights products that are moving quickly and those that are not, allowing for fast corrective actions. You will challenge early assumptions by comparing current performance against historical baselines to separate signal from noise. This comparison reveals whether trends are new or part of a longer term pattern that teams must consider. You will coordinate review sessions where visuals and tables align on one shared interpretation to prevent misaligned actions. Clear visuals and consistent numbers help teams agree on what the data means and what should change. You will orchestrate shipping schedules so that stock movements match promotional peaks and avoid costly disruptions. This coordination reduces the risk of missing sales opportunities or overstocking slow moving items. You will initiate partner conversations clarifying timelines, constraints, and expected outcomes to keep every team on the same page. These discussions set realistic expectations and prevent misunderstandings that could harm the campaign. You will maintain documentation linking each request to source data and decision rationale so that reasoning can be audited at any time. This documentation supports transparency and future audits when questions arise about past choices. You will update dashboards tracking key metrics used by commercial teams during events so they can react in real time. These dashboards provide a quick view of performance during critical hours when every hour counts. You will verify data quality across sport categories to ensure that promotions are calculated and displayed correctly to customers. You will support exception handling when anomalies appear, working with stakeholders to resolve them before they affect sales. You will prioritize tasks based on campaign urgency, ensuring that the most critical requests receive attention first under tight timelines.
Requirements
You hold three years of experience in a similar role within this industry and understand how retail cycles operate in a demanding environment. Experience in sport related environments helps you understand the specific requirements of this sector and the expectations of performance teams. You handle sport verticals and event driven commercial cycles with ease, moving from one campaign to the next without losing accuracy. You are comfortable with fluctuating demand and promotional calendars that change quickly and require fast responses. You work with figures and communicate clearly in French and English, using both languages in daily collaboration with internal and external partners. Strong written and verbal skills in both languages are essential for drafting precise queries and explaining analytical choices. You manage spreadsheets and internal tools to produce accurate summaries that stakeholders can rely on for decision making. Attention to detail ensures that figures are reliable and decisions are well informed, reducing the risk of costly errors. You follow structured methodologies when approaching problems, documenting steps so that others can replicate your work. You collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, aligning on goals and respecting strict deadlines imposed by the business. You remain calm under pressure when timelines are aggressive and multiple requests arrive at the same time. You take ownership of your work and accept responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your outputs. You adhere to data governance rules and confidentiality obligations that protect partner and customer information at all times. You use tools that allow you to monitor performance in near real time during high traffic sales windows.
