What you'll do

• Conduct thorough diagnostics on a variety of Vanmoof electric bicycles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on bicycles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and provide technical support regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Assist in the assembly and quality control of new bicycles, ensuring they meet Vanmoof's rigorous standards before they reach customers.
• Stay updated on the latest technology and repair techniques related to electric bicycles to continuously improve your skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers about repair processes and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bicycle repair or a related field, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electric bicycle systems and components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy workshop environment.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and using diagnostic tools.
• A passion for cycling and a deep understanding of the cycling culture and community.
