About the role
You will own the end to end product strategy and execution for a critical vertical within mortgage servicing such as collections loss mitigation foreclosure payments or escrow. This role requires you to transform ambiguous market needs into coherent product direction while balancing the realities of regulated operations and enterprise sales. You will craft a cohesive product roadmap that prioritizes features delivering measurable business outcomes for our SaaS customers and directly supports the growth of our loan portfolio. Working at the intersection of product engineering and operations you will ensure that complex mortgage servicing workflows are structured and programmable enough to leverage AI effectively. Your written work will eliminate ambiguity and your decisions will align stakeholders across engineering deployment strategy and product operations. Ultimately you will build the products that enable ValonOS to deliver unprecedented efficiency and modern experiences in a historically rigid industry.

What you'll do
Define and maintain a long term product vision for your chosen vertical within mortgage servicing ensuring alignment with company wide objectives and market opportunities.
Translate complex mortgage servicing workflows involving stakeholders like law firms and vendors into clear comprehensive PRDs and technical specifications that engineering can execute against.
Conduct deep discovery with internal servicing teams and external partners to uncover latent needs and convert them into prioritized product requirements.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify friction points and opportunities ensuring that roadmap decisions are evidence based and drive measurable outcomes.
Own the full product lifecycle from concept through launch including scoping acceptance criteria and working closely with engineering during implementation.
Manage interdependent timelines and dependencies making decisive trade offs between speed scope and technical quality to keep delivery on track.
Partner with Deployment Strategy and Product Operations to design and execute rollout plans that maximize adoption and minimize disruption for customers.
Champion the user experience for both internal servicing teams and external customers to ensure the platform reduces effort and improves outcomes.
Evaluate emerging capabilities in AI and automation ensuring the product roadmap positions ValonOS to take full advantage of model driven workflows.
Maintain rigorous prioritization frameworks balancing near term business goals with long term strategic bets in a rapidly scaling environment.
Ensure product documentation and specifications are consistently updated serving as the single source of truth for cross functional teams.
Collaborate with data and analytics partners to define success metrics and set up experiments that validate product hypotheses and inform future iterations.
Represent the product in cross functional discussions providing clear rationale for decisions and incorporating feedback from engineering legal and compliance.
Lead post launch reviews synthesizing feedback and performance data to identify improvements and inform the next cycle of the product.
Build and nurture relationships with key external partners ensuring their needs are understood and reflected in product decisions.
Requirements
You bring 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping complex B2B software products from concept to production.
You demonstrate the ability to balance near term business goals while setting a longer term product strategy in a fast growth environment.
You show demonstrated leadership in bringing together stakeholders and driving alignment across teams and functions.
You exhibit curiosity and a willingness to learn the full landscape of mortgage servicing including areas like foreclosure bankruptcy litigation and REO to make stronger product decisions.
You possess strong written communication skills and are an effective partner to engineering translating technical constraints into clear product choices.
You are comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensuring their collective success without dropping the ball.
You handle ambiguity well making timely decisions with incomplete information while maintaining confidence in rapidly evolving contexts.
You are comfortable operating in a regulated industry understanding the implications of compliance risk and operational constraints on product delivery.
You are willing to immerse yourself in detailed mortgage servicing processes so that your product decisions are grounded in operational reality.
