Implementation Manager
Job description
About the role
You are the client's primary day‑to‑day partner for the deployment of ValonOS into regulated mortgage servicing operations. In this role, you will own the end to end execution of complex, multi‑stakeholder programs from discovery through go live and beyond. You translate ambiguous business needs into a structured, living plan of record that balances speed with the rigor required in highly regulated environments. You align Deployment Strategy, Forward‑Deployed Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure outcomes are delivered quickly, safely, and predictably. Your days will be spent orchestrating cross‑functional activity, managing scope, and keeping critical path items visible to all stakeholders. You will build trusted relationships with client executives and program counterparts while maintaining a clear view of risks, dependencies, and decisions. Ultimately, you will ensure adoption targets are met, support models are stable, and the transition to the new operating system is smooth and measurable.

What you'll do

- Drive execution to timeline by anticipating long‑lead blockers, assigning clear DRIs, and burning down risks before they become incidents.
- Be the main client touchpoint, building trusted relationships with program managers and business leaders while translating feedback into crisp, actionable next steps.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional teams including Deployment Strategists, Forward Deployed Engineers, Engineering, Product, and Analytics from discovery through go live.
- Manage scope and change by capturing requests, clustering themes, and routing them to the minimum viable path using off‑the‑shelf assets and sessions.
- Land enablement and adoption by planning and running training, communications, and readiness programs for target user cohorts.
- Track adoption against defined thresholds, close gaps, and adjust strategies to ensure users are confident and productive in the new system.
- Run executive cadence by preparing materials and driving steering forums so that decisions, risks, and value tracking remain transparent and on‑track.
- Contribute to the implementation playbook by codifying templates, checklists, and talk tracks that accelerate future deployments.
- Balance compliance and innovation by navigating regulated constraints while still enabling the client to realize the full value of the platform.
- Monitor operational health post go‑live and support the stabilization of processes, data, and integrations as users ramp up.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to surface insights from the field and influence the roadmap based on real deployment realities.
- Maintain rigorous documentation of decisions, assumptions, and dependencies so that any stakeholder can understand the current state at a glance.
- Proactively communicate status, risks, and trade‑offs to all levels of the organization, ensuring no surprises when issues arise.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase predictability across the program lifecycle.

- Comfortable coordinating across multiple vendors and stakeholders in complex, compliance‑sensitive environments such as financial services.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies while keeping a clear line of sight on the critical path.
- Experience translating business needs into requirements and working closely with product and engineering teams to validate solutions.
