The acts as the central orchestrator for Atlassian-based digital transformation initiatives across the North American region, owning the complete project lifecycle from initial discovery through to post-launch optimization and closure. You will be responsible for architecting the solution framework, configuring intricate workflows within Jira ecosystems, and ensuring all project activities adhere to strict timelines and strategic business objectives. This role requires proactive communication, meticulous oversight of critical review phases, and the ability to translate complex technical builds into clear, actionable plans for diverse stakeholders. What you'll do

• Serve as the primary intake coordinator, gathering, analyzing, and refining project scope to ensure alignment with client objectives before any configuration or build work commences.
• Architect the technical solution structure, designing and configuring Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to accurately mirror the target business workflow and operational requirements.
• Lead critical review sessions and meticulously document all decisions, ensuring stakeholders fully comprehend changes, implications, and dependencies before proceeding to final deployment.
• Drive ship preparations by validating environment readiness, coordinating with infrastructure and support teams, and monitoring live deployments to guarantee system stability, performance, and security.
• Create and sustain structured partner routines, synchronize roadmaps, and facilitate cross-functional communication to maintain a unified understanding and shared vision across all alliance and client teams.
• Uphold intake hygiene by rigorously updating all project records, artifacts, and documentation, ensuring complete traceability from initial requirements gathering through to project closure and post-launch review.
• Supervise quality assurance checkpoints, confirm that all quality criteria and acceptance standards are met, and resolve outstanding issues or blockers prior to the release of any solution to production.
• Oversee final ship activities, including cutover planning, user acceptance testing coordination, and confirmation of user adoption metrics to measure success against the original project goals and key performance indicators.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance personal and team productivity, automate routine project management tasks, and derive actionable insights that improve delivery speed and decision accuracy.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex project issues, coordinating with technical leads, product owners, and client stakeholders to resolve challenges efficiently and maintain project momentum.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk registers, issue logs, change requests, and status reports, to provide real-time visibility into project health.
• Conduct regular stakeholder updates and performance reviews, ensuring transparent communication regarding timelines, budgets, scope changes, and dependency management.
• Implement and optimize project management methodologies and frameworks, adapting practices to suit the specific needs of each engagement while maintaining consistency with Valiantys standards.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical consultants to ensure that project deliverables are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
• Monitor project health indicators, identify potential delays or resource constraints early, and proactively adjust plans to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Bring a minimum of 3 to 5 years of project management experience specifically focused on delivering Atlassian product implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, including advanced configuration, automation, and integration capabilities within live delivery environments.
• Show a strong grasp of workflow design principles, process mapping, and established change management practices to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions among diverse teams.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Have a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, configuration, and reporting across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, managing your time and workload independently while maintaining high levels of engagement with distributed teams.
• Hold the right to work and live permanently in North America, with the flexibility to support client needs across various time zones as required.
