About the role
The owns the analysis of incoming raw materials to verify specifications before those materials enter production at the Fort Worth manufacturing site. This role is responsible for conducting first shot reviews to confirm that internally molded components meet established design criteria and release requirements. The specialist creates, maintains, and reviews Standard Process Instructions to ensure operational consistency and compliance across the team. They evaluate deviations in collaboration with Quality Engineers and drive closure by following defined corrective action processes. This position supports containment activities under the direction of Quality Engineers to limit quality risk to customers and operations. The role provides technical guidance to Quality Control Technicians during the night shift to sustain consistent inspection results and standards. Success in this position depends on clear communication, structured thinking, and steady follow through on all assigned tasks. Requirements
A technical associate degree is preferred or a minimum of 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting. Prior experience as a US Conec Quality Control Technician is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of optical fiber, cable, connectors, and related hardware products is advantageous for understanding specifications. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and documentation. Capacity to plan tests, execute inspections, and interpret analytical outcomes must be demonstrated consistently. Familiarity with standard MS Office applications is required for data analysis and report creation. Eligibility for employment is restricted to individuals who are authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. This role requires on-site presence at the Fort Worth location during scheduled night shifts without sponsorship.
