What you'll do

• Collect, organize, and analyze metrology, manufacturing, operational, and business data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to support research and operational objectives and drive process enhancements.
• Clean, validate, and prepare data by resolving errors, inconsistencies, and missing information to ensure datasets are reliable and accurate.
• Apply statistical analysis techniques to support data-driven recommendations and decision-making across cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support the development, automation, and continuous improvement of data collection and reporting processes to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to understand reporting requirements and analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Perform data validation activities to ensure the integrity, quality, and reliability of datasets used for critical business decisions.
• Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and communicate data-related issues before they impact stakeholders.
• Document data sources, workflows, methodologies, and analytical processes to support consistency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to ongoing analytics initiatives that improve operational efficiency, product quality, and business performance through evidence-based recommendations.
• Utilize data visualization tools to build interactive dashboards that enable stakeholders to explore data and derive insights independently.
• Assist in the interpretation of metrology and manufacturing data to support product development and quality improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are robust, scalable, and meet the needs of analytical workloads.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship, co-op, academic project experience, or up to 2 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with data analysis and programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of fundamental statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Experience creating data visualizations, reports, or dashboards.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
