About the role
You architect and execute a portfolio of high-impact community events that function as strategic growth levers for Unlimit. You design experiences that feel culturally current, materially valuable, and deeply relevant to builders shaping the borderless agentic economy. You own the full lifecycle of signature events, from initial concept and stakeholder alignment through to execution, measurement, and iterative optimization. You curate intimate, high-energy environments where industry founders, operators, investors, and AI-native companies actively seek connection and insight. You collaborate closely with ecosystem partners, venture firms, startups, and technology communities to co-create events that amplify collective influence. You ensure every interaction reinforces Unlimit's position as the programmable financial infrastructure for global expansion. You translate complex platform capabilities into tangible event narratives that drive visibility, trust, and long-term relationships. Your work turns sporadic gatherings into a repeatable, scalable engine for ecosystem growth across key global hubs.

What you'll do
Orchestrate a portfolio of community-led events spanning intimate founder dinners, curated networking sessions, and large-scale activations across global tech hubs.
Design event concepts that feel culturally sharp and strategically aligned with the borderless agentic economy, ensuring relevance for ambitious founders and AI-native companies.
Partner with ecosystem players including VCs, startups, fintech leaders, and AI communities to co-create experiences that extend reach and deepen network effects.
Map hyper-local event ecosystems directly into event architecture so that each activation reflects the specific payment cultures and community rituals of its host city.
Translate platform capabilities into compelling event narratives that demonstrate programmable financial infrastructure through lived, interactive experience.
Own the end-to-end management of signature Unlimit-branded events, coordinating logistics, content, speakers, and venue strategy with precision.
Build and maintain relationships with influential community builders, operators, and investors to ensure consistently high-quality attendance and engagement.
Leverage data and qualitative feedback from each event to refine formats, improve relevance, and maximize strategic outcomes over time.
Create formats that are intentionally underground and intimate while scaling responsibly within Unlimit's global footprint in London, Singapore, São Paulo, and Mexico City.
Ensure every event advances visibility, trust, and long-term influence for Unlimit and its partners across the most dynamic corners of the tech and finance landscape.
Define and track event-level key indicators, aligning measurement with community growth, ecosystem partnerships, and business impact goals.
Champion experimentation by testing new event formats, collaboration models, and engagement mechanisms that keep Unlimit events ahead of cultural trends.
Balance operational rigor with creative freedom, using structured playbooks to maintain consistency while enabling bold, founder-centric experiences.
Act as the primary event strategist for the San Francisco hub, translating local community dynamics into a globally coherent event vision.
Champion an inclusive, builder-first mindset that lowers barriers to participation while preserving a high-caliber attendee experience.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or you bring equivalent practical experience.
You possess eight or more years of progressive experience in event management, community building, or a related field within technology or finance.
You have a proven track record of designing and executing events for high-level audiences, including founders, investors, and operators.
You demonstrate deep familiarity with global event ecosystems across at least two of the following regions: Europe, North America, Asia, Latin America.
You show strong competence in managing complex logistics, budgets, and timelines for multiple concurrent events.
You have experience working with fintech, AI, or infrastructure-focused technology companies and understanding their event needs.
You are comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
You hold eligibility to work in the United States and reside in or near San Francisco, ensuring seamless coordination with local teams and partners.
You bring a nuanced understanding of community dynamics and how to cultivate trust-driven relationships in both digital and physical spaces.
You communicate with precision and empathy, able to translate technical concepts into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.

Experience building events for developer communities, AI practitioners, or infrastructure-focused builders.
A portfolio of past events that demonstrates innovation in format, cultural relevance, and measurable impact.
Previous work within or alongside venture funds, accelerators, or startup communities.
Fluency in additional languages that support Unlimit's priority markets.
Practical notes
This role is based in San Francisco and requires eligibility to work in the United States.
Travel may be required to connect with partners, attend partner events, and represent Unlimit in key global hubs.
