About the role
Become a vital member of a team focused on unlocking the full potential of the UiPath Automation Platform for various businesses and partners. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing top-tier automation solutions that drive revenue growth, enhance operational efficiencies, and elevate both customer and employee experiences. This role is situated within the UiPath Professional Services division, where opportunities for leadership and mentorship may also be available.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and implement automation workflows utilizing UiPath Studio, including the development of coding agents.
- Identify and utilize the appropriate UiPath components from the comprehensive product suite to meet project requirements.
- Create solution architectures for clients during the initial stages of new projects, including proof of concepts and full-scale implementations.
- Adjust and refine robot code as necessary throughout the implementation process to ensure optimal performance.
- Construct workflows and custom activities using programming languages such as VB.NET or C#.
- Oversee and manage all phases of testing to ensure quality and functionality of automation solutions.
- Deliver technical training sessions, demonstrations, and detailed blueprints, providing ongoing support to clients throughout their automation journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into existing business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development and implementation phases.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies to continuously improve service offerings.
- Engage with clients to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance user satisfaction and project outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies within the Professional Services team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector, particularly in software development.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in creating and deploying UiPath automation workflows.
- In-depth technical knowledge of UiPath and its complete product suite.
- Familiarity with workflow-based logic and practical experience with frameworks such as RE-framework, Orchestration Framework, and Document Understanding (DU) Framework.
- Proficient in using UiPath Agents, Maestro, Coded Agents, Coded Apps, Coded Action App, Coded Workflow, IXP, and API Workflow.
- Current knowledge of UiPath CLI skills for enhanced development and troubleshooting with Coding Agents.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in languages such as VBA, VB, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Proficient in using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) for software development.
- Working knowledge of Document Understanding, Computer Vision, AI Center, and Action Center.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in automating processes within Mainframe, SAP, or Citrix environments.
- Familiarity with other RPA tools and platforms beyond UiPath.
- UiPath Certified Professional designation is a plus.
- Knowledge of cognitive automation, particularly with OCR tools, AI, or machine learning capabilities.
- Understanding of the infrastructure requirements specific to UiPath implementations.
- Experience with UiPath Test Suite, Apps, and Insights for enhanced project management.
- Awareness of Generative AI concepts and the latest releases from UiPath.
- Familiarity with cloud service platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
