What you'll do

• Prepare cameras and verify device functionality meticulously prior to departure each morning to ensure operational readiness.
• Record street scenes, notable landmarks, and public venues while strictly adhering to predetermined paths through urban areas and commercial districts.
• Modify schedules dynamically to revisit locations when lighting or atmospheric conditions necessitate higher quality imagery for the mapping platform.
• Transfer captured video directly onto solid-state drives installed in the vehicle for secure storage and subsequent retrieval by the data team.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver's license valid for operation within Germany to legally drive the vehicle assigned to the project.
• Be available to commit to three to six months during standard business hours to ensure continuity of the data collection effort.
• Be at least eighteen years old with a driving history of up to five years to qualify for participation in the field team.
• Pass a road safety assessment demonstrating the ability to operate the vehicle and equipment safely in the designated environment.
