As a Senior Strategic HRBP for GTM and Commercial, you will act as the principal People Partner to the US commercial executive leadership team and extend your influence to global commercial leaders as well. You will combine deep knowledge of revenue operations with advanced HR strategy to convert business growth targets into effective talent plans, organizational structures, and compensation models. This role sits within a fast-moving fintech company that is scaling rapidly across international markets, and you will work at the intersection of people strategy and business execution to ensure the commercial organization has the right talent, structure, and incentives to achieve ambitious growth goals.

What you'll do
- Partner with commercial executives to define and execute talent strategies that align with revenue growth targets across the US market.
- Design and refine enterprise GTM compensation structures including OTE and SIP frameworks in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Finance teams.
- Establish company-wide Talent Review processes and succession planning frameworks to ensure leadership continuity at all levels of the organization.
- Advise sales leadership on organizational design decisions, including team structures, reporting lines, and headcount allocation to maximize revenue performance.
- Translate business objectives into scalable people strategies that support the expansion of commercial operations across multiple geographies.
- Work closely with Finance and Revenue Operations to build compensation architectures that incentivize sustainable and measurable revenue growth.
- Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, hiring priorities, and talent deployment to meet evolving commercial demands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior commercial leaders to understand their people challenges and deliver tailored HR solutions.
- Lead the implementation of talent management programs that identify high-potential employees and prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives that improve team productivity, engagement, and retention within the commercial function.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an HR business partner or strategic HR leader within a high-growth commercial or revenue organization.
- Strong understanding of GTM compensation design, including familiarity with OTE and SIP structures in enterprise settings.
- Proven ability to partner with senior commercial leaders and influence decisions related to talent, org design, and headcount planning.
- Experience establishing talent review cycles, succession frameworks, and leadership development programs across a global organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of progressive HR experience, with at least three years in a strategic advisory or partner role.
- Deep knowledge of organizational design principles and the ability to structure teams that drive scalable revenue growth.
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where priorities shift quickly and deadlines are demanding.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain composure while delivering high-quality HR guidance under tight timelines.
Nice to have
- Experience working within the fintech or payments industry, particularly in companies focused on Open Banking or alternative payment methods.
- Familiarity with global compensation benchmarking and the ability to adapt frameworks across different international markets.
- Background in building Revenue Operations partnerships and integrating HR planning with financial forecasting processes.
- Prior exposure to sales performance management and incentive plan design for large-scale commercial organizations.
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices as they apply to commercial team building and talent acquisition.

- Proficiency in designing and administering enterprise compensation programs, including variable pay and long-term incentive plans.
- Expertise in talent management methodologies, including performance review cycles, 9-box grids, and succession planning models.
- Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting revenue data, workforce metrics, and organizational effectiveness indicators.
- Experience with HR information systems and people analytics platforms to support data-driven decision making.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills for communicating HR strategies to C-suite and board-level audiences.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements relevant to US and international commercial workforce management.

- This role is based in New York, NY and requires on-site presence at the company's office during standard business hours.
- The position reports into the global HR leadership team and maintains dotted-line relationships with commercial executive sponsors.
