Triton Environmental, LLC, a company within the True Environmental family, is currently seeking to fill a Specialist position within its Regulatory Compliance practice, located in Guilford, Connecticut. As a full-service environmental consulting and engineering firm, Triton operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of True Environmental ("True"). Position Overview

The selected candidate will play a critical role in guiding complex projects through stringent environmental regulatory frameworks, with specific attention to the protection of coastal and marine resources. Daily responsibilities involve making decisions that ensure engineering solutions are effectively integrated with water management protocols and remediation strategies. The position holder will own the end-to-end compliance pathway for projects impacting coastal communities, managing the journey from initial assessment through final regulatory acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing standardized intake procedures to accurately capture essential project details for coastal and marine development initiatives.
• Charting implementation steps that ensure engineering designs are fully coordinated with remediation objectives and water management requirements.
• Directing the technical review of all submissions to confirm strict adherence to environmental regulations prior to internal client review.
• Orchestrating all regulatory filing activities to ensure documentation is complete and supports timely project closeout with oversight agencies.
• Fostering internal collaboration to create seamless links between consulting teams and specialized value-added remediation service providers.
• Developing and maintaining protocols for testing and analytical work that clarify subsurface and site conditions during the planning phase.
• Monitoring and interpreting survey data to refine planning inputs for the development of iconic coastal and marine structures.
• Championing resource extraction methodologies that simultaneously satisfy the demands of environmental remediation and sustainable energy production goals.

Professional Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of three years of professional experience within environmental compliance or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to apply regulatory frameworks specific to water management and coastal project environments.
• Technical proficiency to read and interpret engineering plans associated with remediation and sustainable energy systems.
• Exceptional communication skills required for effective collaboration with planners, surveyors, and construction management professionals.
