What you'll do

Supervise environmental field service projects to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Site emergencies are addressed through rapid response actions led by the operations team. Leadership is provided to site emergency scenarios to protect personnel and maintain continuity. Confined space entries are overseen and participated in to ensure procedures and safety controls are followed. Onsite UST/AST cleanings are managed and executed in coordination with operations stakeholders. Sample collection and monitoring activities are conducted to support compliance and assessment objectives. Company vehicles are operated safely and in accordance with organizational policies. Emergency response teams are coordinated to align resources and communication during incidents. Emergency response duties are carried out on a rotational schedule to maintain readiness. The safety of field technicians and the jobsite is overseen to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Job assignment profitability is managed through planning and oversight. The overall professionalism of the crew and the delivery of high-quality service are maintained for client satisfaction. West Region travel is conducted to support field service projects and customer needs. Laboratories and manufacturing spaces are decontaminated as part of sector-specific service responsibilities. Job scope details and pricing are provided to enable sales team activities and proposals. Biosafety cabinets are decontaminated to support safe laboratory and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Eligibility to work in the United States without future sponsorship is required. A reliable form of transportation is necessary for regional travel and site visits. Consent is given to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screens inclusive of THC. Random drug screening, including THC, is participated in upon employment to maintain a safe work environment. The ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis is required. Overtime work is performed regularly to meet project and response needs. Flexible hours within the Monday through Friday work week are accommodated. Some duties are performed as part of the Emergency Response team. Response reporting to the designated office is completed within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts. Handling of hazardous chemicals and biological waste is conducted with personal protective equipment protocols in place. This role is considered safety-sensitive due to the handling of hazardous materials.

Nice to have

Prior relevant industry experience is preferred for this position. Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification is preferred for field activities. BSC decontamination experience is preferred for specialized cleaning assignments.

Practical notes

This role is based onsite in San Leandro and requires occasional regional travel. The position reports to the Operations Director and operates as a safety-sensitive role. Good to know
