About the role
TripleLift is seeking a Product Marketing Director to lead go-to-market strategy and positioning for its retail media platform. This role is based in the company's New York office and reports into the marketing leadership team. The Product Marketing Director will own the narrative around TripleLift's advertising products, working closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to drive customer adoption and revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in marketing technology and a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, with a passion for connecting product capabilities to customer needs.

What you'll do
- Define and execute product marketing strategies that align with TripleLift's overall business objectives and annual growth targets
- Develop clear messaging frameworks that communicate the value of TripleLift's retail media solutions to diverse customer segments
- Collaborate with product managers to shape product roadmaps based on market research and competitive intelligence gathered from the field
- Create sales enablement materials including presentations, battle cards, and case studies to support the revenue team in closing deals
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform product decisions and strategic direction
- Lead product launches from planning through execution, coordinating cross-functional teams across marketing and engineering departments
- Manage external communications including press releases, webinars, and industry event participation to build brand awareness in the retail media space
- Partner with the customer success team to gather feedback and translate user insights into actionable product improvements
- Oversee the creation of digital content such as white papers, blog posts, and email campaigns targeting advertising professionals
- Present product updates and strategic initiatives to executive leadership and key stakeholders on a regular cadence throughout the year
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution
- Seven or more years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the advertising technology or retail media space
- Demonstrated track record of launching and scaling products in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with measurable outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority across multiple departments and business units
- Deep familiarity with digital advertising platforms, programmatic buying, and retail media network operations and their underlying mechanics
- Proficiency in market research methodologies and competitive analysis frameworks to guide strategic marketing decisions consistently
- Ability to travel occasionally for industry conferences, customer meetings, and internal team gatherings in the New York metropolitan area
Nice to have
- Master's degree in marketing, MBA, or a related advanced field from a recognized graduate program
- Prior experience working at a retail media company or ad tech platform with significant scale and market presence
- Background in data-driven marketing with hands-on experience using analytics platforms to measure campaign performance and ROI
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising ecosystems and the broader digital marketing technology landscape including emerging channels
Skills & tools
- Product marketing strategy and planning with hands-on experience in B2B SaaS or advertising technology environments
- Competitive analysis and market research using tools such as SEMrush, Similarweb, or comparable market intelligence platforms
- Content creation and storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple digital and print channels
- Project management and cross-functional coordination using tools like Asana, Jira, or Monday.com for team workflows
- Data analysis and interpretation using spreadsheets and basic SQL or analytics dashboards to inform marketing decisions
- Presentation and public speaking skills for internal reviews, customer demos, and industry events with confidence and clarity
Practical notes
- This role is based in TripleLift's New York office and requires on-site presence during standard business hours each week
- The Product Marketing Director will work within the marketing organization alongside product, sales, and design teams on shared initiatives
- Candidates should expect a fast-paced work environment with multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities that demand flexibility
