About the role
The VP, DSP Partnerships will own the end to end lifecycle of strategic Demand-Side Platform relationships from initial outreach through long term maturity, directly impacting revenue and platform growth. This role owns the design and execution of partnership strategies that align market opportunities with TripleLift's premium inventory and data offerings. The hire will build and manage a high performing team that negotiates, launches, and scales integrations with leading DSPs worldwide. They will define and drive key performance indicators, ensuring partnerships deliver measurable value to both publishers and platforms. This leader will act as the primary strategic advisor to DSP decision makers, aligning TripleLift's roadmap with partner growth initiatives. They will translate complex product capabilities into clear business cases that unlock new revenue streams and deepen integration depth. Success in this role requires a consultative mindset, data led decision making, and the ability to foster collaborative, long term relationships.

What you'll do
Analyze the programmatic marketplace to uncover high value opportunities for new DSP partnerships and integration expansion.
Lead negotiations and close strategic agreements with key DSP partners, defining terms that protect revenue and drive scale.
Own end market planning for each DSP, aligning product positioning, inventory access, and data capabilities to partner priorities.
Develop and manage quarterly business reviews, tracking share of wallet, pipeline creation, and account health metrics.
Build and iterate on partner business plans that outline clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics for DSP relationships.
Mentor and grow a team of DSP business managers, setting performance standards and career development pathways.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to design go to market strategies for new DSP offerings and features.
Monitor marketplace trends and competitive activity, escalating insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Drive adoption of TripleLift's premium formats and data solutions within existing DSP partnerships to increase wallet share.
Establish governance frameworks and reporting cadence to ensure transparency and alignment across partnership teams.
Identify and remove operational blockers, streamlining workflows to improve partner efficiency and satisfaction.
Represent TripleLift in key industry forums and strategic discussions that shape the future of DSP integration and marketplace policy.
Champion an environment of innovation, encouraging partners to test new formats, audiences, and measurement approaches.
Maintain strict adherence to compliance, privacy, and quality standards across all DSP partnership activities.
Requirements
12+ years of experience in partnership management within the advertising technology industry.
7+ years of programmatic experience working with Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms, exchanges, or other related technology.
Proven track record of successfully building and managing high impact partnerships with DSPs.
Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and DSP technology.
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Data driven and analytical mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
Consultative approach to relationship building with a drive towards results.
A for profit sales background within technology or media, with a history of exceeding quotas.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to travel up to 25 percent, primarily within North America and Europe for partner meetings.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or at any time during the term of employment.
Nice to have
Experience with major DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Meta, Google Ads Manager, and Amazon DSP.
Knowledge of connected TV and advanced TV ecosystems.
Familiarity with blockchain or privacy centric identity solutions relevant to advertising.
Practical notes
Employees must be able to work from New York City office three days per week.
This role may require travel up to 25 percent within North America and Europe.
