About the role
TripleLift is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our New York team. You will focus on expanding our footprint by connecting with new partners and driving growth across our advertising ecosystem. In this capacity, you will own the foundational work of identifying and qualifying new business prospects to expand our client base. You will communicate the value of our advertising platform to potential partners by highlighting solutions such as TL Spark, TL Direct, and programmatic CTV. The role requires you to build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities that feed directly into the broader sales strategy. You will collaborate with internal teams to align outreach strategies with company goals and ensure messaging resonates across the advertising ecosystem. This position involves managing the initial outreach and follow-up processes to move leads through the sales funnel efficiently. Ultimately, you will act as the primary point of contact that establishes the foundation for long-term client relationships in the New York market.

What you'll do
- Identify and qualify new business prospects to expand our client base using targeted sales prospecting techniques.

- Manage initial outreach and follow-up processes to move leads through the sales funnel using structured engagement methods.
- Utilize sales prospecting and lead generation techniques to discover new avenues for growth within the CTV and display advertising sectors.
- Develop a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including CTV and programmatic media, to address partner pain points effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in CRM software for tracking outreach, documenting interactions, and monitoring deal progress over time.
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential accounts and tailor value propositions based on industry trends and advertiser needs.
- Support the creation of sales materials and pitch decks that clearly articulate the advantages of TripleLift's solutions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on campaign objectives and performance metrics.
- Establish trust with prospective partners by showcasing expertise in data-driven advertising and measurable campaign outcomes.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust outreach tactics to maintain a sharp positioning within the advertising ecosystem.
- Contribute to forecasting and pipeline reporting to provide accurate updates on sales performance and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Ability to work from our office located at 53 W. 23rd St., 12th Floor, New York, NY 10010 on a full-time basis.
- Professional experience in sales, business development, or a related client-facing role that demonstrates a history of achieving targets.
- Strong communication skills for articulating technical advertising concepts to diverse stakeholders in clear and concise terms.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity targets in a fast-paced sales environment.
- A reliable mode of transportation and willingness to commute to the New York office as required for daily operations.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, as the company cannot provide work authorization at this time.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have completed some college or hold a bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of organization in a deadline-driven setting.
