About the role

As a Branch Leader at Trendyol Express, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our logistics processes. Your responsibilities will include managing the allocation of incoming shipments to designated areas, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards. You will also be responsible for leading a team, monitoring performance, and enhancing operational efficiency to deliver an exceptional delivery experience to our customers.

What you'll do

• Oversee the receipt of shipments at the Tunceli branch, ensuring proper allocation to designated areas based on the delivery routes.
• Manage the transfer of received shipments to partners, ensuring accuracy and adherence to operational protocols.
• Conduct daily checks to ensure smooth operational processes in collaboration with business partners.
• Monitor the inventory of supplies, identifying distributor needs and facilitating timely purchase orders.
• Handle the entry and tracking of returns in the system, coordinating re-shipment processes as necessary.
• Utilize system tools to track and analyze branch performance metrics, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
• Support the development and performance evaluation of team members, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with 6S and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards within the branch.
• Address customer inquiries and manage communication flow with carriers, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational workflows.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among team members.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills to effectively manage operations.
• Strong team player with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of individuals.
• Proven track record of managing responsibilities and achieving operational goals in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the e-commerce or logistics industry, particularly in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with logistics management software and performance tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
