As an intern in this function, you will contribute to managing the employee lifecycle and cross-border mobility for operations spanning Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. You will assist with government platform oversight and payroll processes, gaining hands-on experience in regional HR administration. The role provides a foundation in shared services, mobility management, and compliance within an organization that values continuous improvement.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Support the management of the employee lifecycle across Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates regions
- Assist with cross-border mobility processes for employees relocating between international offices and the Middle East
- Monitor and maintain data accuracy within the SuccessFactors human resources platform on a daily basis
- Help oversee government platforms including Qiwa, GOSI, and Muqeem for compliance purposes
- Ensure that all labor law requirements and Saudization regulations are properly followed in the region
- Contribute to payroll support activities, verifying data entries and flagging discrepancies for review
- Participate in process optimization initiatives aimed at improving regional HR workflow efficiency
- Work with the team to turn people-focused needs into effective and practical HR solutions
- Assist in building and maintaining data-driven processes that strengthen the organization's culture
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders to gather information and support mobility-related documentation
- Support the preparation of reports and documentation for regional HR leadership and external stakeholders
- Learn how international HR practices are adapted to meet local regulatory and cultural requirements
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to support culture-building and people development initiatives in the region
Requirements
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and UAE labor regulations and compliance frameworks is expected of all candidates
- Hands-on or academic experience with human resources information systems, especially SuccessFactors
- Understanding of government platforms such as Qiwa, GOSI, and Muqeem used in the region
- Ability to manage cross-border mobility tasks and employee lifecycle processes accurately
- Strong attention to detail when working with payroll data and government reporting requirements
- Good communication skills for coordinating with teams across multiple countries and time zones
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as human resources, business administration, or related field
- Ability to work independently within a data-driven and autonomous team environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn about international HR practices and adapt to different cultural and regulatory environments
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications for data management and reporting tasks
Nice to have
- Prior internship or work experience in HR shared services, payroll, or mobility functions is beneficial
- Knowledge of Arabic language or familiarity with Middle Eastern workplace culture and customs
- Experience with data management and reporting in a human resources context
- Familiarity with additional government compliance platforms beyond those listed in the core requirements
