What you'll do
- Develop and execute category strategies that align with Toters' overall business objectives and customer needs.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within your assigned categories.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional activities that enhance product visibility and sales performance.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to make data-driven decisions that optimize inventory levels and product assortments.
- Work closely with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns that drive customer engagement and increase category sales.
- Lead cross-functional projects that involve product launches, seasonal assortments, and category reviews, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and customers, to foster collaboration and drive category success.
- Prepare and present regular reports on category performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform category strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Train and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and insights to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the category management team.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for your categories, ensuring that financial targets are met while maximizing profitability.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the category management function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in category management, product management, or a related field, preferably within the retail or e-commerce sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product categories and driving sales growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of category management are executed flawlessly.

- Experience in the food and beverage industry or a similar consumer goods sector.

- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is highly desirable.
