Field Sales Account Executive
Job description
About the role
This role represents a field sales position focused on the London restaurant market. You will own the end to end sales cycle for restaurants within the territory. The position requires a consultative approach to prospecting, relationship building, and conversion. Success depends on translating the Toast platform into clear value for restaurant owners. Daily activities will center on driving business from initial contact to signed agreement.
The role operates primarily in the field. Eighty percent of time will be spent traveling to restaurants and meeting locations across London. The remaining twenty percent is dedicated to remote work and administrative tasks from home. Reliable transportation is essential for this position. Mileage will be reimbursed by the company.
Responsibilities
You will generate a targeted list of prospective restaurants and manage every stage of the sales journey. This includes moving accounts through intake, build, review, ship, and partner stages until closure. You will translate complex platform features into understandable benefits for ambitious restaurateurs. Each demonstration must be tailored to the specific needs of the venue.
Partnership with internal teams is critical. You will work closely with operations and support to ensure expectations set during the sale are met during delivery. This collaboration helps maintain trust and ensures smooth implementation. All sales activities will be managed inside Salesforce, our customer relationship management platform. Consistent and accurate updates keep the pipeline healthy and visible to the organization.
Understanding the competitive landscape is another core duty. You will analyze rival offerings and determine how to best position Toast in the market. The goal is to highlight how the platform helps kitchens modernize and operate more efficiently. You will partner with operations and support teams to guarantee new venues receive a smooth onboarding experience. Analysis of territory performance will inform adjustments to your approach. This ensures you hit targets across various London neighborhoods and dining segments.
Requirements

A proven track record of exceeding goals and closing deals demonstrates consistent execution. You must thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment while collaborating closely with colleagues. General technical proficiency with standard software tools is required for daily workflows.
