About the role
This position is a field sales opportunity focused on Mandarin-speaking restaurants, allowing you to work from your home office. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles, CA area.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Engage with marketing-qualified leads in your designated market.
- Conduct product demonstrations and discovery calls in Mandarin.
- Prepare and review quotes and contracts in Mandarin.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure customer success post-sale.
- Analyze the competitive landscape to effectively position Toast's offerings.
- Utilize your Mandarin skills for communication with customers while using English for internal communication.
- Note that the application and interview process will primarily be conducted in English.

Requirements
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales role, restaurant operations, or a related field.
- Reliable transportation is necessary for this field role (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation abilities, with a proven capacity to negotiate at all levels.
- A history of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Self-driven, innovative, and adaptable.
- Basic technical skills with software applications.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking sales activities.
- Completion of Sandler Sales Training.

Total Targeted Cash
The estimated cash compensation for this role ranges from $128,000 to $205,000 USD, which includes base salary, commission, and bonuses (if applicable). This position offers uncapped commission potential. The starting salary will be based on individual skills, experience, and geographic location.
