About the role
You will own the end to end management of a multi site paraplanning team ensuring that all workflow is handled with precision and care. You will drive the development of robust standard operating procedures that underpin consistent delivery across every location where the function operates. You will act as the critical link between the operational reality of the team and the strategic objectives set by senior leadership and the wider Titan Wealth group. You will own the performance of your people through coaching, feedback and rigorous review while maintaining a sharp focus on quality and compliance. You will collaborate closely with financial planners and client support colleagues to balance workload demands with capacity planning and resource allocation. You will help to define and evolve the future shape of the paraplanning function embedding best practices and a culture of continuous improvement. You will use data and insight to identify trends, resolve bottlenecks and implement changes that improve efficiency and client experience. You will champion a collaborative and inclusive environment where team members are engaged, developed and empowered to deliver their best work.

What you'll do
Lead a multi site team of paraplanners providing day to day leadership, coaching and operational oversight to ensure consistent delivery.
Own the planning and distribution of workloads across the team ensuring that capacity is matched to demand and priorities are clear.
Champion the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to drive process consistency and quality outcomes.
Collaborate with financial planners and client support teams to manage complex workloads and resolve resource constraints proactively.
Monitor team performance against service level agreements and key metrics identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective action.
Drive the adoption of best practices across the paraplanning function embedding a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Use data and insights to identify bottlenecks forecast capacity needs and implement changes that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Support the professional development of team members through coaching feedback and targeted development plans that unlock potential.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders communicating the needs performance and capabilities of the paraplanning team.
Help to shape the future direction of the paraplanning function contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance service delivery and value.
Ensure all team level activities are aligned with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards at all times.
Provide clear regular and structured reporting on team performance issues and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing cross location cooperation and strong working relationships.
Identify and lead improvement projects that remove friction from workflows and enhance the experience of both colleagues and clients.
Champion the use of technology and tools that streamline processes reduce manual effort and support scalable delivery.
Requirements
You must hold a relevant degree or professional qualification that demonstrates a solid foundation in business finance or a related discipline.
You must have proven experience managing a team of professionals in a paraplanning or similar advisory environment.
You must have a deep understanding of the UK financial advice market and the regulatory expectations that govern its operations.
You must have experience implementing and improving operational processes and controls within a regulated setting.
You must have strong experience using Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools to analyse data and produce clear reports.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of influencing at all levels of the organisation.
You must have a proven track record of developing coaching and motivating team members to improve performance and engagement.
You must be able to demonstrate sound judgement when managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
Nice to have
Experience working within a multi site team structure and coordinating activity across different locations.
Familiarity with Titan specific systems platforms and workflows used to support paraplanning activities.
Experience using project management techniques to deliver change initiatives within a regulated environment.
A background in client facing roles or close collaboration with financial planners.
Practical notes
This is a permanent full time position based in Bristol.
The role may involve hybrid working arrangements with a mix of remote and office based work.
There may be requirements for travel between offices within the Bristol region as needed.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage with internal systems and processes as part of the onboarding and integration process.
The role is subject to ongoing performance management and regular career development discussions.
Success in this role will be measured through team performance service levels and the ability to support the growth of the paraplanning function.
