What you'll do
You will conduct in-depth financial reviews, gathering detailed client data to form a clear picture of current circumstances and future ambitions. You will develop tailored financial planning recommendations, presenting options in a structured and transparent manner that facilitates informed decision-making. You will implement agreed strategies, managing the ongoing administration of portfolios and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. You will monitor client portfolios on a regular basis, proactively identifying changes in circumstances and adjusting plans to maintain alignment with long-term goals. You will coordinate seamless transitions during client handovers, ensuring continuity of service and preserving the integrity of established relationships. You will build strong rapport with clients, taking the time to understand their priorities and communicating updates in a clear, empathetic, and jargon-free manner. You will utilise advanced analytical tools to model scenarios, testing the resilience of plans against market volatility and life-stage changes. You will contribute to the firm's compliance framework, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of governance. Requirements
You must hold a recognised financial planning qualification, such as the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent. You must have demonstrable experience in providing holistic financial planning advice to individuals and families. You must possess a solid understanding of retirement planning, investment strategies, protection solutions, and tax-efficient planning techniques. You must be confident in using financial planning software and cashflow modelling tools to produce accurate, client-friendly outputs. You must have a proven track record of building long-term client relationships and maintaining high levels of satisfaction. You must be fully conversant with current financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the financial planning profession. You must hold a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) or be eligible to apply for one. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to base your practice primarily from the Chester office.
Nice to have
Experience working with practice management software and CRM systems would be advantageous. Familiarity with the Innes Reid business model and existing client portfolio would be beneficial, though not essential.
