This position centers on the expansion of credit card offerings with a specific concentration on acquiring new customers. You will be a core driver in scaling a critical growth vector for the company, navigating a substantial backlog of initiatives that are ready for prioritization and execution. Success in this role requires close collaboration with multiple departments to refine and enhance the overall customer acquisition process. You will own the end-to-end responsibility for the credit card acquisition funnel, establishing yourself as the definitive expert on its performance, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. The role demands a data-centric mindset where you utilize quantitative insights to guide strategic investment decisions across the user journey. You will lead a rigorous testing program, designing, implementing, and monitoring experiments with the explicit goal of boosting key acquisition metrics. Collaboration with engineering and design teams will be essential to rapidly iterate on concepts and bring new features to market efficiently while taking full ownership of outcomes. Furthermore, you will partner with credit and marketing teams to explore new acquisition channels, refine product terms, adjust underwriting policies, and craft innovative user experiences that lower friction and increase conversion.

What you'll do
- Drive the end-to-end credit card customer acquisition process, becoming the primary expert on its performance and opportunities.
- Utilize data and analysis to guide investment decisions, from optimizing user journeys to developing new features and improving search visibility.
- Lead a comprehensive testing program, designing, implementing, and monitoring experiments to boost acquisition numbers.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to rapidly bring new features from concept to launch, taking ownership of outcomes.
- Partner with credit and marketing teams to introduce new acquisition channels, refine product terms, adjust underwriting policies, and create innovative user experiences.
- Contribute to broader credit card product initiatives beyond acquisition, such as customer management and emerging priorities.
- Analyze funnel metrics to identify drop-off points and formulate hypotheses for improving conversion rates at each stage.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives and actionable roadmaps for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on impact, effort, and alignment with overarching business objectives for customer growth.
- Act as the liaison between quantitative insights and qualitative user feedback to shape the product vision for acquisition.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities for differentiation in the credit card space.
- Ensure that all product initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target customer segments to inform acquisition strategies.
- Report on the success of acquisition campaigns and iterate based on performance data.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of experience in product management, or in management consulting or investment banking.
- A Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field like Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience using analytical tools such as Amplitude and Tableau being preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to define and measure goals consistently.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and experience shaping product direction based on them.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional product initiatives.
- Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and logical structuring.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and independently formulating and testing hypotheses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual-first environment with limited direct supervision.
- Willingness to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic startup environment.
- Commitment to data-driven decision making and rigorous analysis.
