About the role
This position calls for a seasoned product leader to spearhead product-led growth initiatives across our consumer application. The successful candidate will own the entire user lifecycle, carefully guiding individuals from their first interaction through sustained adoption and deeper engagement with our suite of products. You will construct scalable frameworks designed to steer users efficiently toward value and maximize their long-term involvement. The role demands a strategic partnership with leaders across multiple product lines to ensure cohesive growth efforts. You will be expected to champion retention as a core strategic outcome rather than a secondary consideration. This position requires a hands-on approach to experimentation and data analysis to validate growth hypotheses. Collaboration with cross-functional partners is central to driving initiatives forward and aligning on shared objectives. What you'll do
- Define the strategic vision for consumer product growth, identifying key opportunities for user activation, conversion, retention, and cross-product adoption.
- Develop and implement user routing frameworks that prioritize user progression and maximize business value across the entire application.
- Shape the product's information architecture and overall structure to guide users effectively through complex decision paths.
- Champion retention as a core outcome, embedding it into product metrics and success criteria for all initiatives.
- Design, prioritize, and execute a rigorous experimentation roadmap, defining clear hypotheses and analyzing quantitative results.
- Oversee the end-to-end user funnel, mapping touchpoints from initial interaction to ongoing engagement and seamless inter-product navigation.
- Align product area leads on growth opportunities and establish shared strategic frameworks to ensure organizational cohesion.
- Collaborate with leaders of Cash Advance, Everyday Money, Line of Credit, and Credit Card products to enhance user experiences and optimize portfolio returns.
- Partner on pricing strategies to increase customer lifetime value and refine monetization approaches across different segments.
- Contribute to the product pipeline strategy, identifying and evaluating potential new product offerings that support growth objectives.
- Develop novel growth loops and partnerships that extend our reach beyond core product features into new user acquisition channels.
- Establish clear success metrics for every growth experiment, ensuring learnings are captured and applied systematically.
- Translate complex data sets into actionable product decisions that improve user onboarding and long-term engagement.
- Act as the primary owner for key growth surfaces, ensuring they are optimized for performance and user clarity.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading consumer product growth end-to-end, with a demonstrable impact on key business metrics such as activation and retention.
- Proven ability to scale a product or growth function, showing a clear trajectory of results over time in demanding environments.
- Deep user empathy, with a strong intuition for user behavior that is consistently validated by research and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests to drive evidence-based product decisions.
- Strategic thinking capabilities, able to connect multi-quarter growth visions with granular product details and execution steps.
- Sound judgment on balancing speed and quality in product development to meet business goals without compromising standards.
- Ability to lead and influence senior product and functional leaders without direct authority, relying on persuasion and data.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills, working effectively with design, credit, engineering, and other product teams.
- Confidence and conviction in defending product viewpoints with clear reasoning and supporting data.
- Experience owning significant product surfaces in fast-paced, high-growth environments where decisions are made quickly.
- Direct-to-consumer product experience is mandatory, with a track record of managing products that interact directly with users.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and driving forward with limited precedent or established processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate strategy and align stakeholders across regions.
- A bias for action, demonstrating the ability to move quickly and iterate based on feedback and results.
