This role is tailored for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a product-driven environment where ownership is valued over rigid oversight. You will be responsible for shaping the behavior of critical enterprise tools that power on-premises deployments. Your daily work will involve close collaboration with engineers who are building the underlying infrastructure for data management at scale. You will not only write code but also participate in defining the architectural direction of the platform. The position requires a balance between rapid feature development and the long-term stability of the product. You will be expected to question assumptions and propose improvements based on real-world operational feedback.
The tools you will work with form the backbone of our enterprise offering. You will use Go to build performant backend services that handle critical data operations. TypeScript and React will be your primary instruments for crafting responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Ansible will be used to automate deployment and configuration tasks, ensuring consistency across environments. You will interact directly with PostgreSQL databases, creating utilities that help administrators manage complex production workloads. Docker and Kubernetes will be part of your daily toolkit for containerization and orchestration. Python may be used for scripting and automation tasks that support the broader platform. AI coding tools will be integrated into your workflow to accelerate development and debugging. Mastery of these technologies will allow you to operate independently and make impactful decisions.
The successful candidate will bring foundational experience but also a strong desire to grow. You should be comfortable reading codebases that span multiple languages and technologies. The ability to debug issues in unfamiliar systems will be a critical part of your contribution. You will engage with customers indirectly through the products you build, influencing their experience and reliability. Your work will support teams across Support and Sales Engineering by providing them with powerful internal tools. You will help reduce the operational burden on database administrators by automating repetitive tasks. This role is ideal for someone who views infrastructure as a product rather than a collection of scripts. You will be expected to document your work and share knowledge with teammates to elevate the entire team.
Because this is a remote role, communication discipline is essential. You will be expected to document decisions, update tickets, and respond to feedback promptly. The team values asynchronous communication but requires clarity and completeness in all interactions. Travel is not required for this position, and all work can be performed remotely. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The position is open to candidates who can commit to the full work schedule within the defined time zone. Professional development is encouraged, and resources will be provided to support your growth. This role offers flexibility in how you structure your day, provided you meet the expectations of deliverables and collaboration. If you are passionate about building enterprise infrastructure and enjoy solving hard problems, this role represents a significant opportunity.
