What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple baggage handling projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project milestones are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that projects remain financially viable throughout their lifecycle.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals for project execution.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project duration.
- Mentor and guide junior project staff, providing support and training to enhance their professional development.
- Utilize project management software and tools to streamline processes, enhance communication, and improve project tracking.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company policies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, particularly in baggage handling or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance processes in construction projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
