What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple baggage handling projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project milestones are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that projects remain financially viable throughout their lifecycle.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
• Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals for project execution.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project duration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, particularly in baggage handling or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance processes in construction projects.
