What you'll do

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a proven track record of overseeing successful projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials, as well as relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of scheduling and budgeting practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced construction technologies.
• Certification from a recognized professional organization, such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Associate Constructor (AC).

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations specific to the Muskogee, Oklahoma area.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
