What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules that meet client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the procurement process for materials and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses, to ensure financial accountability.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with Lean Construction principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green construction standards.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, enhancing customer satisfaction and project outcomes.
Skills & tools
The successful candidate will be proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Project and Primavera, and have a solid understanding of construction management tools.
