About the role

You will own the end-to-end execution strategy for sustaining programs of custom ASIC and AI hardware, ensuring seamless progression from initial production ramp to end-of-life management. You will serve as the central coordination point aligning engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to maintain product integrity and operational efficiency. Your work will involve driving data-based decisions that resolve complex issues while safeguarding yield, quality, and schedule adherence. You will leverage deep technical comprehension of semiconductor processes to anticipate risks and translate them into actionable plans. You will communicate with clarity and confidence to influence stakeholders across global functions and external partners. You will steward the product lifecycle with accountability for continuous supply healthiness and long-term cost optimization.

What you'll do

Provide oversight of the full sustaining program through end of lifecycle for custom ASIC and AI hardware, including post ramp qualification and continuous supply healthiness.

Drive readiness across bill of materials validation, material availability, and process qualification with manufacturing partners to prevent disruptions.

Utilize tools such as SAP (or equivalent ERP), PLM, and project management software including JIRA, Smartsheet, and MS Project for tracking and reporting.

Act as a problem-solver who resolves risks before they escalate, employing data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Build and maintain relationships with top-tier foundries, OSATs, and global manufacturing partners to ensure alignment on objectives.

Accelerate time-to-market while maintaining strict quality and yield targets across production batches.

Communicate and influence both internal stakeholders and external partners with clarity and confidence to secure commitments.

Lead cross-functional project efforts in fast-paced, global environments, balancing priorities under tight timelines.

Ensure compliance with export control requirements related to U.S. export-controlled technology and relevant regulations.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain resilience and operational excellence over the product lifecycle.

Translate technical details of foundry, packaging, HW SMT, and FATP processes into actionable plans for manufacturing teams.

Support strategic decisions by analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions.

Facilitate smooth transitions between development and high-volume manufacturing without compromising product integrity.

Monitor supply healthiness indicators and implement mitigation plans to sustain production throughput and quality.

Requirements

Bring a proven track record in steering complex semiconductor or hardware products from design to production with clear ownership.

Offer deep technical knowledge of foundry processes, packaging, HW SMT, and FATP processes, paired with strong business acumen.

Excel at bridging engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams in fast-paced, global environments with structured execution.

Communicate and influence both internal stakeholders and external partners with clarity and confidence under pressure.

Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while adhering to aggressive schedules and quality targets.

Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive decisions and eliminate bottlenecks proactively.

Possess a thorough understanding of supply chain principles, including material planning, vendor management, and risk mitigation.

Commit to compliance with U.S. export laws and related regulations that govern technology transfer and personnel eligibility.

Practical notes

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON. You will work within the specified hybrid schedule as defined by company policy, balancing remote and in-office collaboration to support team objectives.
